Project Overview:
This Oconomowoc kitchen renovation project dramatically transformed the space by strategically removing and adding walls to create an open yet flowing layout. The cabinets, crafted from Keyborn-painted maple, exude a timeless elegance, while the Cambria Quartz countertops add a touch of luxury. The selection of large cabinet pulls reflects the superb taste of both the designers and the homeowners. Anchoring the design is a substantial island, measuring 10 feet by 4 feet, thoughtfully equipped with a sink and dishwasher, making it both a functional and focal point of the kitchen.
Kitchen Renovation Challenges and Solutions:
- Leveling the subfloor to accommodate the LVP flooring was a critical step in ensuring a seamless transition between the old carpet and tile areas throughout the first floor. Another challenge was determining the precise location for the overhead range exhaust venting. Through close collaboration with our HVAC contractors, we achieved pinpoint accuracy in mounting the finish hood, ensuring both functional and aesthetic success in this phase of the project.
